Types of Optical Shafts
- Standard Linear Optical Shaft (sf): Its high surface hardness requirement due to direct contact with linear bearing points makes material selection and heat treatment methods critical.
Material: SUJ2 (equivalent to GB GCr15).
Hardness: HRC60±2.
Quenching depth: 0.8-3mm. - Chrome-plated Linear Optical Shaft (sfc): These are suitable for rust-prone or harsh environments, commonly used in industrial robots and automatic sliding systems.
