Features and Advantages

  • High Precision: The SBR series is known for its high precision, owing to its manufacturing process where the screw holes for the hardened shaft and base aluminium rail are drilled after the shaft has undergone hardening treatment.
  • Cost-Effective: The SBR20 provides an economical solution with a short production cycle that makes it a viable alternative to traditional square linear guides.
  • Easy Installation: Its design allows for easy installation, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless integration into your current system.
  • Customizable: The ZLV SBR20 can be customized to meet specific requirements, offering flexibility for various applications.

Applications and Benefits

The Open Linear Optical Axis Guide Slider Bearing SBR20 is widely used in automated transmission devices such as engraving machinery, woodworking machinery, printing machinery, industrial robots and more.

When it comes to its installation, the non-ball type polymer liner on the shaft is the last component to be considered. It can be made of high-performance bearing-grade material suitable for aluminium or other substrates, offering good load capacity (equivalent to 20% of the ball liner load capacity) and a low friction coefficient ranging from 0.05 to 0.25. This liner bearing can operate smoothly in harsh environments with particles that could damage the sealed ball liner and under impact loads that could damage the ball bearing system.

Additionally, the noise from ball circulation, which could be an issue with ball liners or square guide bearings, is virtually non-existent with this liner bearing. Due to its large contact area, it does not need a hardened steel shaft equipped with a ball liner. This stainless-steel shaft system is suitable for both clean environments such as those found in the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries, and harsh environments like food processing.
