Radial spherical plain bearings come in multiple forms:

  1. GE…E type: Single-fracture outer ring, without lubrication groove. Capable of supporting radial loads and minor axial loads in any direction.
  2. GE…ES type: Single-fracture outer ring, equipped with lubrication groove. Can withstand radial loads and minor axial loads in any direction.
  3. GE…ES-2RS type, GEEW…ES-2RS type: Single-fracture outer ring, lubrication groove, and dual sealing rings. Suitable for bearing radial loads and minor axial loads in any direction.
  4. GE…ESN type, GE…XSN type: Single-fracture outer ring, double-fracture outer ring (divided outer ring), lubrication groove, and outer ring with stop groove. Can withstand radial loads and minor axial loads in any direction. The axial load capacity is reduced when the axial load is supported by the stop ring.
  5. GE…HS type: Inner ring with lubrication groove, double half outer ring. After wear, the clearance can be adjusted. Can withstand radial loads and minor axial loads in any direction.
  6. GE…DE1 type: The inner ring is made of hardened bearing steel, and the outer ring is made of bearing steel. During assembly of the inner ring, it is press-formed, with a lubrication groove and oil hole. For bearings with a diameter smaller than 15mm, there are no lubrication grooves and oil holes. Can withstand radial loads and minor axial loads in any direction.
  7. GE…DEM1 type: The inner ring is made of hardened bearing steel, and the outer ring is made of bearing steel. During assembly of the inner ring, it is press-formed, and after the bearing is installed in the bearing seat, a groove is pressed on the outer ring to fix the bearing axially. Can withstand radial loads and minor axial loads in any direction.
  8. GE…DS type: The outer ring has assembly slots and lubrication grooves. Limited to large-size bearings. Can withstand radial loads and minor axial loads in any direction (the assembly slot side cannot withstand axial loads).

Self-lubricating Radial Spherical Plain Bearings

  1. GE…C Type and GE…T Type: The outer ring involves an extrusion process and its sliding surface includes a sintered bronze composite material. The inner ring, made of hardened bearing steel, features a chrome-plated sliding surface. This type is only suitable for small-sized bearings.
  2. GE…CS-2Z Type: The outer ring is of bearing steel, with a sintered bronze composite material for the sliding surface. The inner ring, composed of hardened bearing steel, has a chrome-plated sliding surface. Dust covers are present on both sides.
  3. GEEW…T Type: The bearing steel outer ring features a sliding surface with a layer of PTFE fabric. The inner ring, made from hardened bearing steel, has a chrome-plated sliding surface.
  4. GE…F Type: The hardened bearing steel outer ring includes a sliding surface of glass fiber reinforced plastic with PTFE as an additive. The inner ring, also of hardened bearing steel, showcases a chrome-plated sliding surface.
  5. GE…F2 Type: The outer ring consists of glass fiber reinforced plastic. Similarly, the sliding surface uses glass fiber reinforced plastic with PTFE as an additive. The inner ring comprises hardened bearing steel with a chrome-plated sliding surface.
  6. GE…FSA Type: Medium carbon steel forms the outer ring, and a fixer holds the sliding surface made of glass fiber reinforced plastic discs with PTFE as an additive. The inner ring uses hardened bearing steel. This type suits large and extra-large bearings, capable of withstanding significant radial loads.
  7. GE…FIH Type: Hardened bearing steel shapes the outer ring, while the inner ring is made of medium carbon steel. The sliding surface is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic discs with PTFE as an additive and is attached to the inner ring with a fixer. This type also includes a double half outer ring. It’s suitable for large and extra-large bearings and can manage substantial radial loads.
